"When I was about seven, dad and I got into a fight," Gilbert murmured, eyes distant, as if lost in the memory. "I accidentally crashed my bike in the neighbour's precious vegetable garden."
"Accidentally?" Ludwig asked with some disbelief, raising an eyebrow in question.
"Well, it was either that or her pear tree. The vegetables looked softer." Gilbert smiled slightly before continuing his story. "Dad got really pissed... He didn't even care that I was hurt much worse than the damn plants." He sighed, and Ludwig was surprised to see a solemn frown creep out on his brother's face. "We started arguing, and he told me to 'be quiet'... It was the way he said it, though..."
"What do you mean?" Ludwig asked, when Gilbert paused slightly.
"He sounded so angry. Like he just wanted me to disappear and stop causing him so much trouble." Gilbert's lips quirked into a small smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Even the awesome me would be hurt by that. So I screamed right back at him. Said some shit that was way over the line."
Ludwig eyed his brother thoughtfully for a moment, before speaking. "Do you regret it?"
Gilbert glanced at him silently before nodding. "Yeah. I regret saying what I did. I might have been upset, but so was he..."
The two of them were silent for a while, before Gilbert's eyes regained its familiar, mischevious glint. "Don't regret destroying the vegetables, though. That bitch was seriously the most unawesome neighbour ever."

Just a scetchy little thing I did, based on a story I'm currently writing. I didn't bother colouring it, just left it like this. I'm sure you can understand the story behind this little scene without me explaining it. ^^
Oh, and as usual, I'd love some feedback, even if it's not the most fancy drawing/comic in the world.
Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia - Axis Powers or any of its characters. I DO, however, own the artwork. Oh, and I sort of own their dad, I guess, since he's not really based on a hetalia character.
I started tearing up I had this type of thing happen I love you Gilbert!
