Just a little drawing I did, after I played through Amnesia - The dark descent yet again and felt like doing something creative~ I wonder if it was the game that put me in the somewhat morbid mood that created this drawing... Oh well.
I had no idea how it would turn out when I started drawing, but eventually it turned out like this. I bet you can all see what animal this is supposed to be (well, a mix of human and this animal, anyway).
Hope you like it, and if you'd leave some feedback, that would make me very happy~
It's interesting how you use the white lines to outline some of her hair. The gradients are beautiful. My only suggestion is that you give the nose a bit more highlights because the gradient you used kind of flattened it. What I mean by that is that it looks like her nose kind of disappeared near the top, and the only part sticking out is the part you drew. That's pretty much it. Otherwise, this looks brilliantly stylized, sharp, and great colour palette was utilized.
I see what you mean about the nose. I guess I was kind of lazy on this picture, and particularly when shading her skin I'm really happy you like the picture!!
... Actually, I meant for her to be a fox, but you're right, she does kind of look like a cat
Ahaha, that's what you get when your drawings are made out of awesomesauce. My drawings are mostly sketches; I never try hard at anything else anymore. That's because I have so much school work to do.
Yeah, one day only can house twenty-four hours. I am so late for my Halloween drawing and I'm so behind on my other account. I'm not doing much over here because whatever I submit nobody really likes... -_-
Don't apologize about that, I love getting compliments about my stuff! Even if it makes me flustered, it also makes me very happy
Don't let yourself belive or care about people not liking what you do. Draw for your own sake, and enjoy what you do, rather than doing what supposedly pleases the crowd. The art has to mean something to you personally! If other people like it, then that's just a bonus That being said, I do understand what you mean, it can be hard and discouraging when people don't give you credi for something you've worked hard on!
